SPEAKER  Pam Silberman, author of Simply Being: One Year with Spirit

TOPIC  Simply Being Happiness

DESCRIPTION:  Since the beginning of time humanity has sought to know itself in happiness, peace and love.  Essentially, this seeking has become the only motivation for every choice we make.  However, if you were to ask ten random passersby, "what is happiness?" most likely we would hear a multitude of responses.  Why the variation?  Perhaps happiness is based more on our inner ideas than our external experiences.  Through Pam's presentation, we will explore the general ideas surrounding happiness, its influences and our inner desire for achieving this simple state of pure being.  In addition, using resources from A Course in Miracles and Simply Being, we will walk through simple methods for choosing happiness in the multifaceted aspects of practical living. Pamela Silberman is a licensed professional Recreation Therapist and group counselor.  Her writings have appeared in Chicken Soup for the Volunteer's Soul and numerous other publications.  Pam's website is at  www.simplybeing.net  Her book, Simply Being: One Year with Spirit can be purchased at Amazon.com  http://tinyurl.com/4lx2j2  or at your local independent book store.

DESCRIPTION This introductory class will help you become aware of your inner creative resources by fostering a deep inner knowing awareness of your whole "higher" Self.   The seeker and seer in you can awaken you to your own inner re-Source.  As you begin to trust this as a loving aware Presence within you a greater moment-to-moment self-confidence emerges and profound connection to the whole of creation.  This awareness can allow you to discern and evaluate both inner and outer guidance in ways that foster flashes of insight, peaceful peak experiences and greater creative expression.  Through demonstrations, experiential exercises and group discussion this workshop will help you stimulate and develop a heightened awareness of your multi-sensory "clair" i.e clear "sixth" sense abilities.  As an on-going inner process you can cultivate greater synchronicity, abundant joy and the flow of grace and ease in your life.

THE BODY AS COMMUNICATOR I

INSTRUCTORS  Alice Yeager,  MFA and Faith Hagerty, MPT, cert. MDT, CSCS

DATE/TIME  Saturday, January10, 2009, 9:30am-1:15pm

LOCATION  Peace Point,  Edgewater, MD 21037 (Email or call for directions)

REGISTRATION  Call (410) 956-1117 or email  alice@spiritcreativeservices.com

COST  $60 (1 session = 3.75 hours)

DESCRIPTION  In this introductory course the body is seen as a means of communication that can express health as well-being or unhealthiness as suffering.  As a means of communication, the body can convey the underlying cause of a physical issue as "dis-ease" or other unhealthy conditions. The topics covered include physically based anatomical maps as well as subtle energy maps in relationship to our five senses as communication channels.  When there is interference to this communication it can lead to unhealthy conditions as emotional and physical pain, sickness, accidents, and an increased rate in the aging process. When these communication channels are restored to full functioning we experience greater wellness as physical health and emotional well-being both individually and collectively.

THE BODY AS COMMUNICATOR II

INSTRUCTORS  Alice Yeager,  MFA and Faith Hagerty, MPT, cert. MDT, CSCS

DATE/TIME  Saturday, January 24, 2009,  9:30 am- 12:30pm

LOCATION  Peace Point,  Edgewater, MD 21037 (Email or call for directions)

REGISTRATION  Call (410) 956-1117 or email  alice@spiritcreativeservices.com

COST  $60  (1 session = 3 hours)

DESCRIPTION: This will be an experiential application of the information presented in the introductory class.  We will be including group and individual practice sessions to help you learn to sense this communication for yourself within your own body as messenger.  The purpose is to assist you in releasing self-limiting thoughts that have an effect on your self-healing abilities.  We will also help you develop and establish reliable skills that you can use for yourself and to help others in a gentle supportive unfolding process toward greater health and well-being. Understanding the various anatomical body parts and their functional usage in the light of this communication can help you identify the underlying cause of a physical or emotional issue i.e. "dis-ease" as an unhealthy (unwhole) condition.  When you recognize the cause then true healing not just a temporary "cure" can occur.

THE BODY AS COMMUNICATOR - Individual Sessions

Alice Yeager MFA and Faith Hagerty MPT, cert. MDT, CSCS have developed a practice and course of study working together with individual clients and students. This work combines their knowledge and skills in subtle energy healing and functional physical anatomy. The result of releasing these imprints, especially traumas is increased flow of our life force and more vibrant health and well-being.

Alice Yeager,  MFA,  is an accomplished trainer, subtle energy hands healer, multi-sensory intuitive, life coach, mentor and multi-talented creative artist.
