We appreciate all the cast, crew and sponsorship assistance in making our special Peace NouvellaPresentation possible. We are hopeful that all of the effort, talents and gracious seed gifts offered to make it a success will sprout wondrous blossoms that bear fruit for our future endeavors. We are now in the process of producing a number of follow-up programs as well as new venues for our educational presentations about healing and peace through the entertainingly creative performing arts. In July AHAA president Alice Yeager will be featured as a guest on All Around Annapolis on Annapolis's regional TV interviewed by Mayor Ellen Moyer. Details of when the interview will air will be in our next announcement.

Our multi-faceted programs are designed to address both the personal and global healing of our planet. We offer programs designed to educate, entertain and inspire more healing and peace in the world. Our next program will be an extension of the dialogue begun with actor, producer and director LeVar Burton and writer director Olivia Barham in discussion with us about The Science of Peace documentary. Please join us for our next MEDIA NIGHT on Tuesday July 15, 2008, 7-9pm at Peace Point in further dialogue with LeVar Burton and Olivia Barham about their work on the documentary.

We will continue to be developing original plays such as the A Capital Idea written for our Peace Nouvella Presentation on June 21st by AHAA President Alice Yeager. As the debut performance of the Peace Nouvella Playerswe are excited to be in the development stage for additional peace and healing inspiring presentations to offer to the community. We are seeking additional members to join our ensemble of talented performers artists, and stage crew. The themes our all of our programs foster an awareness of a peaceful revolution in consciousness that is needed to heal ourselves for the sake of our planetary survival and evolution. We especially thank Ann Marie Williams, Marvin Clark and Aiko Enarazki as representatives from the World Peace Prayer Society at www.worldpeace.org for their contribution of our program. We are seeking a donor in support of their work as well to have a Peace Pole erected in Annapolis to also help raise awareness of the importance of the inner work of healing and peace. Please visit contact us if you would like to be part of planning committee to help bring these projects to a larger audience. Attached is the pdf of our Playbill from the event that further describes our programs. We are especially grateful for the volunteer efforts of our planning committee and all of the many supportive contributors and sponsors Ann Bracken M Ed., Michele Quesenberry, Dr. Bill Boro and Spirit Creative Services Inc. THE BODY AS COMMUNICATOR - Introductory Workshop

LOCATION Anne Arundel Community College

COST See AACC Fall Catalog REGISTRATION Call (410) 777-2241

DESCRIPTION: In this workshop the body is seen as a means of communication that can express health as well-being or unhealthiness as suffering. As a means of communication, the body can convey the underlying cause of a physical issue as "dis-ease" or other unhealthy conditions. The topics covered include physically based anatomical maps as well as subtle energy maps in relationship to our five senses as communication channels. When there is interference to this communication it can lead to unhealthy conditions as emotional and physical pain, sickness, accidents, and an increased rate in the aging process. When these communication channels are restored to full functioning we experience greater wellness as physical health and emotional well-being.
