11th Anniversary Inner Peace Treaty™ Event

We also invite you to join us for our 11th anniversary of the Inner Peace Treaty™ on Father's Day, Sunday, June 21, 2009 as we celebrate a worldwide revolutionary shift in consciousness from a stance of war to peace. This shift is one that also takes us out of the disease models of fear that sees us in war with ourselves as wars on diseases, poverty, global warming etc. rather then fostering peaceful means to restore health and well-being. Senate Hearings on Integrative Health

We are also excited to announce about the Senate hearings being held this week lead by Senator Barbara Mikulsi on "Principles of Integrative Health: A Path to Health Care Reform." Well known authors and leaders in the field are testifying all week in advance of new initiatives in health care reform. These reforms are proposed to include a broader scope of understanding of the role these practices play in a comprehensive healthcare system. TITLE Everything You Need to Know About Self-Hypnosis

TIME: This program is special extended two hour experiential program 7:00-9:00pm.

DESCRIPTION Self-hypnosis is growing in importance as we move into the great psychic changes in consciousness that are already beginning to manifest. In this two-hour presentation. Dr. Mancini will first discuss myths about the nature of hypnosis. Then he will explore the uses of self-hypnosis and various methods to put yourself into that therapeutic state. In addition, he will present various ways to emerge from the hypnotic state with renewed energy. He will also show you how to write a self-hypnosis script for any improvement you want to make in your life. If there is time, he will conduct with the group a hypnotic process to enhance and anchor a very positive frame of mind. Joe is a former traditional therapist and a university professor of literature; currently, he is an organization development consultant, an executive coach, and a certified NLP Practitioner. He is also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist in private practice, specializing in transpersonal hypnosis (past-life, cellular release, life-between-lives, etc.). SPEAKER Jerome Zazzera, BHSP, PT

TITLE The Effect of Brennan Healing Science (BHS) on Pain Reduction and Increased Functional Mobility

DESCRIPTION Traditional western medicine has often been unable to help patients with pain despite our vast technology and numerous medications. Far too many patients continue to live without improvement in their conditions. In fact, there is often a slow deterioration in their conditions that leads to depression, more pain, and a hopelessness that they will never heal. As a physical therapist, Jerome designed criteria for three case studies in 2006-07 to measure the effect of BHS on decreasing pain and increasing functional mobility. During this presentation and discussion, Jerome will demonstrate how using Brennan Healing Science on three different patients with different diagnosis had an immediate effect on decreasing the patient's pain and increasing their functional mobility. Jerome is a current practicing physical therapist at two hospitals in the area. He has his private combined Energy Medicine Healing // Physical Therapy practice in Arnold and Pasadena and performs long distance healings on clients throughout the United States and Canada. TOPIC: The Role of Healing Arts Practices in Modern Medicine

Exploration a variety of healing arts practices once considered not part of today's medicine that are now considered part of mainstream medicine. Discussion will include the latest statistics reported by the National Institute of Health's Complementary and Alternative Medicine Division (NIH/CAM) that compares the use of these practices in both adults and children.

AHAA sponsors regional and international educational programs. Our goal is to offer on-going innovatively inspiring productions that serve the greater community and provide leadership in the use of the creative arts for healing. This includes encouraging others to recognize the role artists play in finding creative solutions for the challenges we face individually and globally in our rapidly changing times.
